A medical eye problem is generally not correctable with a change in eye glass prescription; i.e. an eye infection. Please call our office if you have any questions and ask for Sharon.

Facilities and Equipment
We moved into our office in 2003. You'll be very comfortable.

We are on the ground floor and are handicap accessible.

Some of our equipment includes:
Threshold Visual Field Perimeter (primarily to manage patients with glaucoma).
Computerized Auto Refractor (for faster and accurate prescriptions).
We have a Digital Retinal Camera (for documentation of the health status on the interior of your eyes).
Corneal Topographer (to detect irregularly shaped eyes and astigmatism).
Microscopic Video Photography (for patient education and baseline photos).
Ultrasound A-Scan (to measure the length of the eye).
Pachymeter (used to measure the corneal thickness).

We also assist your needs with two professional and licensed opticians along with a large choice of ophthalmic eyewear.
We have a more gentle "air puff" instrument to screen for high eye pressures and 'GDx' laser polarimeter that measures the thickness of the optic nerve fiber within the eye. Both instruments are state-of-the-art and are used to detect and manage glaucoma. Neither instrument requires pupillary dilation.
